We are carefully monitoring the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Our priority has been to implement steps to protect the health of our staff and their families as well as our clients while continuing to ensure that we meet our clients’ needs by providing uninterrupted service.
We are fully prepared to continue the provision of high quality legal services to our clients, barring any external interruptions which are out of our control. While all our offices currently remain open, we have ensured our staff are able to work remotely so that they can maintain social distancing and thereby limit the spread of the virus to protect the community at large.
Our Team
We have suspended all business travel. Additionally, we are monitoring all travel by our staff and ensuring that self-quarantines are utilized in accordance with not only our staff policy but also the policies recently introduced by the Government of Bermuda.
We continue to maintain appropriate protocols regarding any staff who feel ill or may be at increased risk. We have provided our staff with hand sanitizer and disinfectant wipes, have increased the cleaning of contact surfaces in our offices, and promoted hand-washing, avoiding touching of the face and other measures which are known to reduce risks of transmission.
Our Clients
We have ensured that our technology systems are robust and we have carried out preparations and testing to ensure that our attorneys, managers and support staff can provide seamless service while working remotely during the course of the pandemic, however long that may be.
We are discouraging the holding of physical meetings in accordance with social distancing guidelines and instead are holding client and other meetings by audio or video conferencing.
